Together ADHD
This week I added another meeting to the Together ADHD schedule. This is a support group for adults with ADHD that I run online. My goal is to gradually add more meetings to accommodate more people's schedules, accounting for time zone differences. There will still be a Thursday meeting, but now I have two meetings a week. I hope this will encourage more people to join and share their experiences and challenges with ADHD.
The blog is becoming an important part of the site that I would like to maintain. I would like to do posts about symptoms and how they impact my life and how I manage them. This would be helpful for others who struggle with similar issues and want to learn some coping strategies. I also want to hear from you, the readers, about what topics you would like me to cover and what questions you have about ADHD.
My Housework
I am still in cleaning mode. Keeping up on the house keeping has been so much easier recently. Tasks like cleaning the fridge and organizing closets are still on the agenda at this time, though . I might be coming to the end of it now, which saddens me. I love that my house is now clean. But even with the mess that there is, it doesn't seem so overwhelming.
I found some of the old recap sheets I saved from coaching. These are the notes that my coach and I made after each session, where we set goals and action steps for the week. It amazes me to see how many of those goals were finally accomplished. I would like to see if there is more that can be done later.
3D Printing
To tie in the cleaning and 3D printing, I am getting close to completing the honeycomb wall storage unit for the kitchen. The grid done and needed to print a few more inserts to hang it on the wall. Next month, I would like to get a stud finder that can detect wiring in the wall, so I do not drill into wires. I would like to do that prior to attaching the unit to the wall, just so problems do not arise.
I am also thinking about expanding the one in the bathroom. The one I got now does look good on the wall, but I would like the extra space for other items. It would be nice to have as much counter space our tiny little bathroom will allow.
3D printing is a hobby that I enjoy a lot. It allows me to be creative and practical at the same time. I can make things that I need or want and customize them to my liking. It also helps me with my ADHD, because it gives me something to focus on and a sense of accomplishment.
I am perpetually thought about this, appreciate it for putting up.
